April First Saturday
It's Spring and it's First Saturday in the Height, Saturday April 3rd.  Join us for an artist reception from 12 - 3pm and meet local Heights artist Mary Stuart.  You may seen Mary's patchwork boxes or picture frames made from recycled wood and found objects at Bliss on 19th in the past.  Her works are New Orleans inspired, but the main source of influence for her one of a kind pieces are the island cultures, primarily of the Caribbean.  Be sure and meet Mary in person on April 3rd and see some of her latest works including mirrors, lamps, picture frames and of course her wonderfully fun boxes.

Spring is right around the corner and Easter is upon us.  Drop by Bliss on 19th for Passover & Easter cards.  While there browse about for Easter gifts or maybe new serving pieces or fun barware to brighten up your Easter gathering.

Save the date, Friday, May 7th, 2010, 6 - 10 pm.  Make plans now to join West 19th street businesses as we host our annual Spring Fling and make it a night to give back to our community.   This year West 19th street merchants will be sponsoring local charities for our Spring Fling event in an effort to support local charities for the great work they continue to do in the Heights community. 
Bliss on 19th will be sponsoring Keep Heights Green a local non-profit organization whose mission is to replace or replant trees lost during Hurricane Ike, as well as trees that are declining from natural causes, such as aging or illness.  Check back for updates to see how this partnership will allow you an opportunity to support this charity on the evening or May 7th.
